Vocis/Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
Rules for using Vocis: accounts, workspaces, projects, site crawls, usage limits, and the voice embed.
Effective date: September 22, 2026
1. Using Vocis
By creating an account or using Vocis, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Vocis for a company, you confirm you can bind that company to these Terms.
2. What the product does
Vocis lets you create workspaces and projects, crawl a website to build knowledge for voice control, and embed a script so visitors can speak and interact with that site. The dashboard covers projects, usage, and billing. We may change features as we ship updates. We may pause access for maintenance, abuse, unpaid bills, or security risk.
3. Accounts and API keys
Keep your login and project API keys private. The public project id goes in the embed; the API key must not. You are responsible for activity under your account and workspaces. Tell us about unauthorized use at support@vocis.app.
4. Crawls and your websites
Only crawl and voice-enable sites you own or have permission to access. If you store crawl login credentials, you confirm you may use them for that purpose. You keep ownership of your site content and project configuration. You give us permission to crawl, store knowledge maps, and process voice requests as needed to provide the service.
You are responsible for any notices or consent your visitors need for voice on your site.
5. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Crawl or control sites without authorization
- Use Vocis for illegal activity or to harm others
- Attack, overload, or probe our systems or other customers
- Share or publish project API keys
- Resell the service without a written deal with us
6. Plans, usage, and billing
Plans (free, pro, business, enterprise), monthly voice-minute limits, and overage settings are shown in the dashboard and Stripe checkout. Billable usage is the time you speak plus Vocis talk-back. It counts against your workspace minute pool. In cap mode, voice stops at the limit. In overage mode, extra minutes may be billed as described on the billing page. Fees already paid are generally not refundable except where the law requires it. Price changes apply to future billing periods.
7. Our software
Vocis software, branding, and docs belong to us. You get a limited right to use the product while your account is in good standing. You do not get ownership of our code or marks.
8. Third parties
We rely on providers such as Stripe (payments), email delivery, hosting, and AI models for some voice resolution. Their outages or policies can affect the product. We are not liable for failures outside our reasonable control.
9. No guarantees
The service is provided as is. Voice matching and crawl coverage depend on your site structure, permissions, and configuration. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every spoken command will succeed. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Vocis is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits or data. Our total liability for claims about the service is limited to what you paid us for Vocis in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Ending use
You can stop using Vocis anytime. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. After termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections on ownership, liability, and acceptable use still apply.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and change the effective date above. Continued use means you accept the update. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Questions: support@vocis.app or Contact.
